Haleakala National Park, Hawaii

At over 10,000 feet high, this Volcano in the middle of the Pacific Ocean truly defies description

Haleakala National Park, Maine

This is a park that has such rapidly different experiences depending on when you visit. Most people likely visit during sunrise… waking up at the crack of dawn and climbing the 10,000 feet to look over the crater as the sunrise rises over it’s incredible colors.

Others might hike the massive 10+ mile trails during the day and wander into a world that feels more like Mars than Earth.

Sunset is amazing as you rise above the clouds and watch the sun set over Maui.

And lastly, for those that can brave the cold, the night sky is out of this world. Nearly 2 miles into the sky in the middle of nowhere, the lack of light pollution in all direction makes it one of the best places on earth to see the night sky and milky way.
